Thoughts on this Officer's uniform set in Italian material?
Looks convincing to me at least the uniform and the material...breeches do have weird flaps...
which I've seen on post war police breeches...
Not too sure about the insignia either? Thoughts?

I agree! but there's a "feeding frenzy" over it on Manions! so I wanted to make sure... I guess my eyes are not deceiving me after all!
Some people just love to waist their money!

To make it even juicier the description reads that the oilcloth tag ("in slash pocket" it states? weird place...) has a typed date 24.6.44 + cut hole from removal of owner's name...
so many people are falling for it!

Converted army

The uniform is a converted army, so I am told. A friend of mine saw it in hand.

Definate shadow of litzen on the collar and waiting for John Pic I'd say the eagle was bad too, based one his previous posts of Seidler eagles. Looks to be a tarted up Heer tunic at best, at worst ... well ...

This is certainly a converted Army tunic. Very slightly in Manion's defense, they DO note that all the insignia is repro and put over where the old insignia was; however, they ALSO say it was put over original SS insignia! The old collar tab signs should be enough to scare anyone off, but I guess not!
