Good news! (its not tropical BeVo... its embroidered...)
Would $295 be a reasonable price for it?
Would it be appropriate to restore a (stripped) Waffen SS fez?
or are those strictly BeVo types?

            Nick.

It's bevo and would be fine if you are restoring a fez.

            The price is OK.

Sadly, many original fez' have been stripped of insignia for application to fake hats.

Yes, but you can't get that skull for that price.

I have a nice beat SS side cap that could use that skull. Nick mint hat deserves a mint skull

IMO you can't buy this skull (original and nice) in order to restoring fez or other caps. It was cut the material around skull so you'll find many difficulties to apply it! MANY. Look well it and think where you must put the thread and how easily you could have problems (and straps)! Moreover fez's insignas must be stiched with a machine.

I would think Who ever took the insignia from that fez would have ruined it and i doubt it could have been used for re application on anything. All the threads on the outside are intact looking at the photo's so the insignia has been cut off inside that, which would leave the edges of the insignia prone to fraying and impossible to re sew

                              best
