        I dont think the cyphers are original to the boards if original at all. the piping on the boards show some aging and discoloration, and the cyphers seem to be mint.

          I agree with you that the slip-ons are less used than the shoulderboards, but do you think the slip-ons are not original ?

                      im not saying that they are for sure fake, ill leave that opinion to the experts, i just highly doubt that they are original to the boards.

                        Use of slip on's

                        Hi,

                        Same pattern slip on exist for Westland as well in this machine embroided pattern. Was there slip on made for other regiments/units as well in this pattern (Rgt. Germania?)?

                        When was this issued and how long was they in use? They does not seem to be used be all members of the unit, was there any limitations for the use of these slip on's?
