Could anybody shed some light on the subject of (Oberbayern) TK insignia? I do know the types of insignia, but I'm missing a timetable. Insignia like the skull and letter 'O' shoulderboards cyphers, the 'D' for Dachau collar tab, when were they first introduced and when were they replaced? I know many of these types of insignia never saw the light of day for more than a few months, a year perhaps at most, but I'd love to see a timetable, perhaps with some nice illustrating pictures. Can anybody help shed some light on the subject? I know there's a lot of 'specialist' info on SS-TV insignia hidden away in numerous interesting threads, a lot them started by members like Jim Toncar and Lorenz, who have a lot of rare TK insignia, but I'd love to see that information 'bundled' in one thread.
