I believe that the pagan history was promoted and taught in German schools. My uncle took a boar spearhead that had swastika and runic symbols worked into the metal, and a swastika (reversed) cloak clasp made of bronze from a school his unit was camped near when he was with the occupation army. He told me they were part of a display set up to show younger children about the Teutonic heritage.
BTW, Bog is Russian for God.

yes, I m with you on that. While it had to have depended on what schools you were at... I mean wealthy or poor districts. I know someone who was in school in Germany during WWII, but it was in a dirt poor rural area. So there was no displays ...but there was a lot of instruction in Germanic legends and myths. It was so poor in his area the local HJ Hitler Youth had no uniforms...

By the way...where is that runic spearhead right now?
