    SS Skull & Eagle Original ?

    Gentleman,
    IM new at this and really dont know what im doing so be warned. I would appreciate some opinions on an SS skull and eagle I have recently seen for sale. Thanks David

            Definately fake Assmann skull ... the eagle's in BAD company so more than likely also fake.

                I agree. I wanted to see the marks and hardware to see if this is a new or older generation.

                      For any business to make a claim that they only sell authentic items, the dealer should be VERY knowledgable. Unfortunately, many dealers are only knowledgable on certain items, just like collectors. The claim to only sell authentic items has an up side, in that if it's deemed otherwise by a reasonable consensus (such as on this forum), you shouldn't get any argument when returning it. Some dealers know and don't care, some don't know and don't care, and a few don't know and DO care. Most of know by now which statement applies to which dealer.
