I don't buy it at all. Nothing about the wear/aging rings true to me...I also find the markings incredible...

There was one on E-bay last week for about 4 hours. There is someone producing a copy of the German leibermuster camo.

Yeah the battery acid was dispensed with precision!!!
In other words conveniently missing the stamps... Sorry I'm not convinced either....BUT
if it's proven to be real, its as rare as it gets! I have my doubts

This soldier chose to wear a splinter cap...makes you wonder if these Liebermuster caps even existed!
Photo credit goes to Petr as marked. He posted this in the photo section!
Awesome image from Czechoslovakia 1945! Worth repeating here! Nick

                        Here's the Ebay Liebermuster cap

Here's the Ebay Liebermuster POS cap (mentioned in post 10) that was sold buy some person from Houston on the 18th of June
and described as being "genuine 1945" (poor buyer) for $400!
Besslein's version, which started this thread, certainly does look a lot more convincing than this Ebay POS!
                        This one lacks ventilation grommets....

                              .

Between the two, I would pick Besslein's!
