    Hardly.

If originals were plentiful and cheap, and if there weren't good copies to fool you, where would be the challenge?!

OUR sport is not for the meek or weak of heart. Leave those abundant, friendly creatures of the Wehrmacht woodlands to the weekend hunters; WE hunt the elusive and dangerous big game of the SS jungle!

Now, that is enough rest...I am going back into the wild to beat the bush some more to flush out my next kill...see you at the taxidermist, boys!

          Cap

Last 2 postslaugh: Wait till the bullets REALLY start flying !! Years ago, when I started collecting, there weren't many good copies, but there were no forums like this one, where the best experts are available for free consultation. Check out this story: Years ago, long before Don Boyle's books, an acquaintance bought the most mint Totenkopfring in the world from Wolfe-Hardin for $900. It was dated 21.12.44. He later read an article in the "Military Advisor" publication that totenkopfring production was halted in 10.44. He got spooked and marched the ring back and got some other stuff instead. Of course, we all know now that 21.12.44 IS a valid date, because production was later resumed. Here's a photo of him when he found outbanghead: There's a photo of the ring in Don's 1st book. S.lb.Geldern 21.12.44. Now, don't you just HATE when that happens??? Like Bwanek1 says, "Not for the meek"!!!
