    Traps

    1. Why make a repro of something that doesn't exist? Because they're stupid.
    2. Post a New Thread showing these 2 patches and title it "Odd Border Stitching". Ask if anyone has ever seen this style before.
    3. I posted a topic recently titled"Trap Parade", or "Trapezoid Parade". There are a few odd wool traps posted there. Compare them with the ones you posted. As I said, there ARE some variations. I don't think these 2 are original. The oddball stitching only reinforces my belief.

        2. I dont want boring people with the same patche.
        3. I saw yours topics but I can not diference an original one from a good one. Anycase, good and interesting topics.

          Patch

Buy a repro M-43 cap and sew it on to scare your neighbors. I used to wear a repro SS camouflage cap with an original tropical skull on it to work and no one ever really noticed. Go figure.

When they have that stitching that is a bad thing...the old copies done in CAMO cloth had that style stitching and as for the place where you said one sold for a lot of money they probably get some great high end things but caveat emptor...think about it...the stitching serves no purpose...it just stitches the piece to itself!
