        Looking over the interior shots I see some 'red flags' that would cause me further investigation... from the pictures you have shown I would have doubts about the cap's authenticity.

            Reaplied insigna?

            About 3 years ago this one was for sale on a French militaria site. Back then it didn't have any insignia and never had any insignia as there were no holes of previous applied insignia...
            So the actual insignia are apllied (not reapplied) on a post-war cap.

              The cap is bad too. That is a copy of a period logo and shield. There are many differences between the period version and post war. This is the later for sure.
