    i found this ring for approximately 15 years.
    iamself have the excavated. is it the SS to assign ?

                Many different ppl through that time period bought and wore these kind of rings, they are not attached any special unit like SS or so.........

                    What I have learned about your type of ring is that they were actually advertised in period newspaper Zeitungen of the era. Most if not all were not advertised in non SS 'affilitated' newspapers.
                    I learned all this on this very forum, there may still be some good threads to be found on the WAF search button, where you can read more on it. Type in the search button/mode ,if I remember correctly, "private purchase rings" or "unofficial SS ring" etc.

                    By the way, I do like your ring. There is one looking perhaps just like it on Shea's web site right now.

                    Where did you excavate it?
