    salty WSS Ubermantel

    Hello Forum members,
I picked this up on the estand.
As the sellers photos are better than mine I shall use a few of them along with a few of my own taken in extremely bright sunlight. Basic description(with apologies to seller) : "...coarse late war German wool ,lined with a rayon type material . Sleeves lined with a rayon type material. large late war type collar with an integral hood. Several post war machine stitched .replaced buttons. A repro eagle was handsewn and then taken off the stitching left some marks inside the lining but did not damage the original stitching(which doesnt go through the lining) and eagle remnants..."

I would appreciate any comments about this Ubermantel.

    thanks, Michael

                      Hi Michael,

Nothing wrong with it. Here is mine, a twin of yours, still with its originaly sewn arm eagle:

                      BR,
