quick KZ question

first off, im not sure if this should be in the firearms section or not and if it is then i apologize.
heres my question, were concentration camp guards ever issued walther P38s? ive seen pics of them with lugers and walther PPs but never a P38.

I believe they were issued with exactly the same variety of sidearms as the rest of the Waffen-SS, namely a mix and match of what was available at the time. There was mention on the BBC Auschwitz documentary series from the young cashier (a Private) stole money bound for Berlin and purchased his own pistol from the armoury.
