After the negative response my brother and I received, we have reevaluated our position on our TKR project. When and IF this project is completed, we agree ALL rings will be stamped with an "R", or some obvious symbol to designate a reproduction. Having a custom "Repro" stamp made may be too costly, so this will have to suffice. We are sympathetic to your concerns that a repro may be bought by an unsuspecting collector somewhere down the line. I have to agree this is a legitimate concern. As for the prior accusations, I challange ANYONE to show me ONE example of ANY fake ring or ANY other item we've EVER sold. Just ONE. So, to our accusors, I say, put up or dry up. And as for someone who wants to wear a repro totenkopfring, that's THEIR business, not yours. To those who responded in a civil manner expressing concern, and/or condolences for my brother's accident, we sincerely thank you. The irony is, all the fuss, and neither Josias nor myself even cares a wink if we make a cent on this project. It was posted to share, nothing more.
