while i understand and agree with what you are saying somewhat same questions by the same individuals time and time again as they do not use the search function ect ect, but (there is always a But!),

the guy is a new member

Now imagine ;

You have just joined a forum, lets say a croatian forum

As you have just found a piece of insignia from croatia ,

And they all speak Croatian

On this forum you do not know who is who as you are new

Your croatian is not that good

So you have to use a translation program and hope for the best!!!!

I understand what you say Gary and partly agree with you and with Brad.
What I want to say is that it has certainly not got any easier with the previous threads of fake SS items amalgamated into one thread with links of interest.

Especially the single thread fake SS insignia should be permanently pinned by its name. Most of the questions are still asked about insignias.

Just my thoughts.

If all those threads and the other threads that are going to be created, like the fake uniform, fake camouflage pattern, fake camouflage caps, helmet covers ect ect were pinned to the top of this forum you would have to start on page 2.

The first post in the pinned thread has a link to 5 other fake threads, the second post has links to 4 other threads of interest, these will grow in time so one pinned thread with links and to be honest even when the 2 fake threads were pinned there (insignia and cap) it was obvious by the threads started that most did not read them just like most do not use the search function but would rather ask and have someone else tell them.

There is also another reason and that is Seba does not like a lot of threads pinned to the top of each forum

although later i might split them into a fake threads and a Threads of interest
