Just for curiosity, the pins of the TK (if you're able to see them) are flat or rounded like needles.......

Pins are thin, flat brass. Never seen round pins on early TK's. 1st pic is inside of same early SS cap. 2nd pic is the same manufacturer with resoldered pins.
(The only RZM & manufacturer marked early TK's I've ever seen were made by St.&L.) 3rd and 4th pics are another example.

Variation TK - Could even be Danzig Police, which wore a TK on their peaked caps and had a TK painted on the side of their helmets (never seen another exactly like this)
