hi all. Judging from those pics i would say it is one of those bronce type Polish fantasy items.They come in manny different variants like AH statues,heads .Ashtrays etc often with SS runes at moste strange objects. I borrowed an pic as an example of the types. Often with that green felt cloth at the underside.

Doug, the detail on them is not bad. Look at the spange. Again well done but still a fantasy item.

At the bottom its seem to be imitation leather, the material is maybe bronze, but I am not the metal proffessor.

I'm going to recant. I have much worse feelings because it appears like it's trying to imitate bronze. However, the damage on the front does not look like bronze that was damaged or dinged - it looks more like plaster. The backing material is truly horrible.

I seen a set of these at the SOS, one like this except the runes were not as white and the other was a SS Buckle design. Same diameter and everything. The guy wanted $100 for the set. They are still nice object de' artos if you ask me!!
