      The outside could have fooled me (partly).
      The tyr rune is placed very nice, which mostly isn't the case...

          A fake for sure. No doubt about it. The skull, along with the lack of over-all detail in the ring is a dead give away. The inscription just seals its fate - not that we even needed to see it, of course!
