Not at all. By the tone of the thread, I thought everyone was implying it was fake. If so, it's the best fake I've seen, and I wanted it for a very high quality post-war M-43 made in Germany, for my personal wear. I did know some originals have yellow thread. I contacted the seller and he said he was out of THEM, implying he had more at one time. No one's trying to convince anyone of anything. It was a straight-forward question.Comment

Yes, I think we understood that. I just wanted to point out that not everything he is selling is fake, so I posted the skull, which had just arrived in the mail today. Funny thing, with all the other not so good items, where did he come up with this???

No, I wasn't able to "steal" it. Several other members saw it and tried to do that. It got pulled by ebay (I wonder how that happened...
). I had some previous contact with this dealer, so I emailed him and asked what happened. He was nice enough to re-list it at a "buy-it-now' price that we agreed on. I paid a fair price, somewhat less than market value, but not a steal. But hey, you do what you gotta do to get things you want...Tom

I saw that, it was up to 300 when I looked at it and thought it was good deal since there was one on the estand for 600(and sold for that),

Yes Dave, that is correct. I was waiting to bid on it too, but then it just disappeared! Somebody turned it in to the ebay gestapo and they pulled it, which is strange, because there are 100's of skull related items for sale at any given time...TomComment
