    SS VT manufacturers label

    Hello to all,

i have a big problem with a black VT service uniform. The Manufacturers label has two numbers , 666 and 31183. Anybudy know , is the nr 31183 the SS Nr. of the man or the manufactures nr. I look for the right cufftitle to the jacket.
Can someone or all help me ?
    thanks Wilfried

The 31183 is the SS # and the 666 the tailor. The tag is permission by the RZM to make the uniform. The label and what's on it is understandable and proper. From what I can see, the tunic looks good too.

I've never seen an RZM "overstamp" on a tailor's label before- was this a common practice?

I will post a picture of an RZM erlaubnis label for you to see. I have not seen the over stamp on the tailor label before, but yet again, I have only encounted one allgemeine tunic with an erlaubnis label. The fact that a form of this label was used is interesting. The tunic may indeed be original. The insignia that is on the tunic is not what I would want to own. It is currently set up for an A.Hitler cuff title.
              Regards, Peter

Sorry, but after some thought, I cannot post a picture of my label. I am afraid of possible counterfeiting. I hope you understand. Don't think I can comment further.
