    SS-D board

    Hello guys, I thought that WSS introduced army waffenfarbe piping in december 1939, and at the same time they altered the gothic style cypher to a latin cypher on the boards. If so, why this s-board has gothic "D" with army Nachrichten wool piping?

    Anyone? Is it real - early style "D" without silver/black piping?

      as far as i know shoulder boards were never made with wool piping. im pretty sure that the piping was always rayon.
