And I believe this pic has been photoshopped... It looks very unnatural as one tab has a shadow due to the angle of the light, the other tab doesn't have that shadow.

It took me about 5 minutes to make a quick pic of "both tabs" showing the back...
Question: was a blow torch used to create that faked patina on the runes?

Gary is perfectly correct. The images or the collar patch has been tampered with. In post 19 "SS" turned the new altered collar patch around. They are still the same no matter what.

Not that there should be any question after the great detective work done by Gary, but here are both sets of photos side-by-side with the same angles and size ratios. For this clown to suggest that these are not the same, identical tab (the only difference being that one set of photos was taken when it was new and the other after it spent some time with the gerbil in his rectum) is laughable.
