Dear Gentlemen!
Want to show you some pictures of a recently aqquired side cap (pick up find from late 2007).
The cap was found at Camp Gimlemoen, Kristiansand in 1945.
This side cap has probably been used by a norwegian frontfighter or a member of the Norges SS. Theres plenty of pictures of norwegians using this model of side cap with the early type of SS button. This button is stamped 63 RZM and is the kind of type without circle around the SS mark, and it is a 3-piece construction.
It looks like the leftside badge was removed by the norwegians, and in some pictures one can see the Nasjonal Samling Raven beeing used instead. Especially by members of the Norges SS this seems to be the standard.
