Help to Id Unusual K98 Pouch Markings - SS?

Greetings

I posted a similar request in the Equipment Forum but didn't get any comments regarding this impression. The item is a K98 pouch dated 1941 made by FR. OFFERMAN u. SOHNE in BENSBERG. Below the maker mark is an eagle and swastika with the letters "ZZA" and possibly an illegible character after that. Unless my eyes deceive me, there are also two SS runes before the "ZZA". Bill Shea personally examined this pouch and hadn't seen this impression before.

Is this some form of Waffenamt?

There has got to be an explanation for these markings.

The eagle is a 'waffenampt' stamp, the rest looks like 224 or similar. It's nothing to do with the SS to my knowledge ... try over on the fiedgear forum.
