Congratulations. That's a nice find. Interesting to see a Germanic SS sleeve diamond with a B tag. They are usually found with a C tag (with Hersteller code # 167).

The Lion is from left collar tab of a NS Police uniform instituted by the Quisling government in 1942. By the way... Super grouping

You should split out & post your Norwegian Items separately - in an affilitated Thread. Lots of great stuff there.

The 'Metal Lion' also does look similar to Photos of the "SS Norwegian Legion" Collar Tabs used, prior to the Cloth ones. Do you feel that is also a possibility?

SS Norwegian Legion had different Lions, first ones handsewn, second ones metal, a bit different from this one.
