Thoughts on this SS Side Cap

Hi everybody!

I have been looking at this SS side hat and would like your thoughts on it. I'm a heer collector and I want to complete my first SS uniform and a hat like this would do the trick. All comments welcome.

Hi Steve,

The cap itself is original but considered like coastal artillery by 95% of the collectors(no false piping)...

I have no opinion about this question myself, but the "no-textbook" shape affect seriously the value

About the insignas,looks good but I have not enough knowledge concerning the ss insignas to be sure

I agree with everything Alexandre has said. Looks a nice cap,the insignia is nicely toned to the cap too, look where the TK has worn where it is folded.

dont forget there were all sorts of configuration in caps, mix and match, no real set rule in war ,especially later on, the wear on the tk looks more like the guy pulling it on and positioning it, (as well as folding ian } i really like it.certainly seen action.
