Brad, basically everything on this cap is post war constracted, that would cover it for your friend to get his money back

Thanks again for comments and they confirm what we already knew since this cap is said to have come from the infamous Landser Militaria, formerly located in Schweinfurt Germany and operated by Jim Calhoun. I think many here have heard this name before.
