Is there still an active WSS division in Norway or something?! I swear so much nice stuff comes out of there that's it's almost unbelievable. Great helmet cover and beautiful condition!

Thank you all for your nice comments, and to all of you camocollectors - as "norge" says, there is a lot of German uniforms and equipment in Norway. The Army and Homeguard took care of huge amounts and as you know, we used German helmets up to 1970s in the Home guard.

What is not common knowledge is that the Homeguard stored WSS camo smocks and helmet covers and used them in the early days. Some of us know the old Depot "Veterans" in the Homeguard.

Wonderful cover. Norway is home to some of the finest collections of SS camo . You fellows are lucky that material seems to be found every year. I would love to find such wonderful covers.
