The tunic is Allgemeine-SS and has an Edelweiss collar patch,

This Tab was issued to the 87th SS-Standarte (Innsbruck) and some research by forum member Derek unearthed the tab was also issued to 37th SS-Standarte in Linz as well.

This picture might be of interest as it shows a member of my family, when he was a student at university of INNSBRUCK and serving within the mentioned standarte.

Yeah a typical Austrian edelweiss (metal) on a tab as seen worn by many Hochland units (SA, Alg.SS, NSKK, HJ etc..)

This picture is from the "Panoptikum 1944" Museum in Budapest, Hungary.

Blown up web image of one of the museum displays...not very clear...

Note Maria Theresia SS Feldgendarmerie mannequin impressions, interrogating a Russian prisoner.
I doubt that these uniforms are real,(caps are Bundeswher!) but it does show the flower collar tab!
(+ accurate orange feldgendarmerie waffen farbe! wonder what the cuff titles read)
