I am not trying to put you on the spot, I would be interested to see bad Russian capture stamps that we know for sure are bad and perhaps the basis of why they are bad. After all that has gone down on this thread, I now realise, this is a study needing a thread devoted to that subject in its own right,
Chris
I don't have images but I think Robert E posted a fake AG wrapper with bogus soviet stamps that came from this outfit..I will try and find it.
They have also had others with different capture stamps than what are in the wrapper, they would not always be the same.

I have seen your wears that you porn off to a certain dealer , like the panzer assault badge ! so dont go casting stones at me ,
Well for your information Judas,
I purchased that panzer badge from that dealer in 1995 and because he was not happy with the deal, I took it back and had to take the loss.
So how is that for a turn of events. He sells me a fake for US$350 in 1995, we do a deal in 2014, he gets excited and allows US$750 on a US$2500 badge that I am trading/ cash buying off him. Then later finds out the badge that came from him originally, is not what we thought and asked me to take it back. I did the decent thing and took it back and now still have it in my "put it down to experience box".
So before you accuse me of anything, get your bloody facts straight !
And I will be on the phone to him first thing on Monday wanting to know why the hell he is discussing this with you, who I do not know from a bar of soap and many in the North tell me they try their best to avoid at the shows or in general.
From the one who now has the badge,

So you aren't up for backing yourself, Owen?
Come on, just one - that's all I'm asking? You're good at being lippy, so now it's action time - and not about collecting SS items - about COLLECTING.
No BS - The money is just sitting there for you. Put your word into action and deliver.
Can you do it, or are you all gas...?

You're in Russia correct? Why don't you contact the museum , see if the story is true and if they have another. If they do find out what information they have on it. You seem to be a good researcher. Then give us a report .

ATF listed the pinks as coming from B & N London...That's perhaps where the rumor started? but possibly a batch passed through their hands..
but that would be the extent of it...They did not commission these...No movies used them and even Angels costumiers (who took over B & N's inventory) could not rent them out according to Owen if that's true...so they certainly did not have these made in the UK...(with fake USSR stamps...no London property stamps...Wrong!) but no doubt there are rats in the UK as well! (rodent damage)
