Here are additional photos of the stamp.
I have also included photos of the printed "skip spots" (white areas where ink
was missed during printing).
in the following pictures are three stamps: @bottom and top are pink smocks and one original stamp on the Palm smock in the middle. The stamps are deformed, distressed and/or marked out. So it is really hard to compare and judge. They appear pretty much identical but IMO they differ a bit. I will leave it to you to decide if they match or not but one thing is for sure though, the font of green numbers on pink smocks is different than on the palm smock.

Hi,
you are kidding right ?
Anyone can have fake stamps added to anything, especially if the material used is like kammon man said hundred of times "nothing like the originals".
But i'm sure we will be able to debunk these like DougB did for the "Champagne SS Decal" that were heavily defended by many on the WAF for years.
See You

Yes, lets indeed identify the source which further places these in a chain of custody in the late 1940s which is forensically and historically factually consistant with other factually collected information based on facts and can be cross referenced to other factually known accepted items of SS camo which bear the same stamps. Then we can debunk the idea that these stamps were added at a time when adding stamps was....(never mind there are 10,000 posts you can read)......but theyre definitly fake because theyre just different and (never mind there are 10,000 posts you can read)....but theyre definitly fake because theyre different and........so on and so fourth......just because theyre different and anybody can add a stamp and theyre different......

We all know there are 2 camps on these jackets.
Pretty simple.
The jacket was posted to harvest market value for the e`stand.
I bought my first for 750 Pounds in the mid 1980s.
With exchange rate plus collector law that would be worth a fair penny today.
I remember a LW HB splinter was 350 Pounds in the same Regimentals catalogue mint condition with the shoulder straps FYI.
I hope the seller gets a decent whack for it..........when and if its put up in the present climate.
The market shall pass judgment.

Cammo man;
I agree that there are two camps on these.
I have been totally open and honest about the smock,
when and from whom I bought it, and knowing that they've
been discussed ad infinatum here on WAF.
I requested evaluations from those who are well versed in
SS camo (like you) to post their comments.
my request for the evaluations were certainly self-serving when
I offer it for sale, but also for those interested to learn both the
positive and negative aspects of this smock, and have already directed
several interested parties to read this entire post before considering
buying it.

I can make the following comments regarding the smock posted by longislandercjv and in response to his question regarding the comparison of this smock to other "pink" smocks:
1. This smock is clearly from the same origin as the other pink smocks posted, but has some distinct differences to many if not most of the others. That said there have been several of this variation posted. The differences are that this sub variation does not have the center stitching on the foliage loops, the entire smock is sewn with the heavier green thread rather then just the pocket flaps and buttons as is found on most others and the lace holes appear to be machine sewn and not hand sewn....or at least hand sewn the same way is most often seen on these.
One could conclude that this variation was made later in the production run as it seems that the German's dropped the center stitching as well during the production of their run of these.
2. The ink stamps are more clear than the other examples posted in the earlier days of this thread, but are in fact the exact same stamps as found in all of these smocks that bear stamps or traces of stamps. Again, it is a fact beyond any doubt or denial that these stamps were in these smocks in 80/81 when they came in. It is also a fact that many dealers/collectors at that time cited these stamps as reason that these smocks were fake.....they could not understand at time why any stamp like these would be added to a real WWII German clothing item. Also a fact is that many of these smocks had the stamps defaced or cut out PRIOR to arrival to Floch.
3. Past the points above not much more I can add. It would be interesting to see or know if any of the buttons match each other and what kind of condition they or in.
