Fritz, you could help the discussion here. Pete has posted the round and triangle stamps. You state above the stamps have been faked for decades.

Serious collectors such as yourself, Kammo man, and others have apparently encountered the colored triangle and circle stamp in fake items.

Please post photos of those same fake stamps, in a fake article. With these stamps circulating for decades, you must have access to examples. Otherwise, you are just saying that fake stamps exist (no revelation), but they are not the ones we are talking about.

      Genau: Gar nichts.
Naja, Ahnung zu haben könnte schon eine gewisse Relevanz haben.

Sehr überzeugende Argumentation - ich bin schwer beeindruckt.

Again, a nice attempt of ignoring my "awkward query".

Gents, if you really want to talk privately, please use the PM function. Lots of people speak other languages, particularly German, on a WWII German collectors forum.

I agree we should try to sdtay on topic. Fritz, it doesn't have to be you, but just as original stamps on original uniforms were posted, if ANYONE has pictures of these exact stamps in a fake item, please post for comparison.

              regards, Robert

Read the last page, Fritz. I gave several examples in response to your "query", which I guess is addressed exclusively to me.

Waiting for your posts of the fake stamps.

I think I already shared my points of view.

Now how about keeping this lively and fruitful discussion in progress?

As Robert already mentioned: Can you provide us with any pics of fake stamps now?

I just want you to answer the questions you have, as it seems to me, been avoiding so far. Of course only if I am not asking too much here.

Where are the batches of mint german uniforms other than these pink smocks coming from the soviet union?

Magazine pouches or rifles won't do it for me. - Sorry.

                          Cheers

As far as I am concerned, your involvement here points into a certain direction.

                            I could indeed, but:

Seriously, I am certain a picture of this has already been posted here.

                            Cheers

No, Fritz, a picture of those fake stamps have not been posted, in this thread or any others discussing the pink smocks.

Please post them, as you are the one that rejected the current ones posted showing original examples. You're the one who said these stamps meant nothing, because they were replicated for decades. I am not trying to be rude, but the originals are posted, both in the pink smocks and original uniform articles.

The Soviet Union exported lots of captured German stocks to anyone with money. I will not expound on that well-known and documented fact. If the fact that no one can present the transfer documents for German uniforms for you prevents you from accepting this fact, then I will not belabor this point.

                              regards, Robert

If you're looking for how large quantities of unissued SS uniforms made it to unlikely places, here's an example. Looks like somebody was exporting SS uniforms in quality. This was a 10 second search, I'm sure you can find more if you'd like:

"Based on account written by Ed Evanhoe in the book, Dark Moons, Chapter 15, pages 168 to 169.
During the Korean War, both sides waged nonconventional warfare. Such personality was the Lt. Colonel Jay Vanderpool, commander of the Guerrilla
Operations. After appointed to the post, he inspected the local supply depots in Seoul to see whether there were equipments to be used for his commandos. He came upon boxes after boxes of World War II German SS uniforms and equipments. Nobody knows how these boxes were at Korea,
thousands miles east of Europe. Whether the event actually happened as described in the book is uncertain, but I did acquire the picture of Korean commandos wearing the Waffen SS uniforms from Korean magazine
called Platoon. The rear row of soldiers are those wearing the uniforms, you could barely see the German Eagle on their shoulder patch."
