Sorry guys these are the only scans I have...yes it is from Manions. 12 yrs ago Manions was a great place to get original items....now seems its more repros & iffy items. I would assume this is one to pass on.......

This started at 2400 or something like that early last year. Like many uniforms items on that site it sells, is gone for 2 weeks and is relisted again at a lower price, there were two or three SS tunics this last year and this was the most "ify" one. The bad picture itself is suspicious because earlier there were different pictures of the stamp, it is "blurred". There are ways to make a "stamp" like that with a marker that will come very close to a real stamp. That said there are other issues I see. There is a reason why it has been for sale for almost a year. You still can find nice original things on Manions but I do nto think this is one of them.

If you send a sample, i.e. a correctly sized scan of an original logo to any big UK stationer and they'll make a rubber stamp to order, believe me, we have them done for work (NOT with SS-BW on I hasten to add ).

Manions and fleabay have much in common, unless you're 100% certain what to look for you're skinny dipping in the pirhanna pool .

It could be that the base jacket is good and someone penned in the SS-BW stamp to enhance the tunic... Too hard for me to tell from these photos.

Which is the whole point, the foolhardy may be lured into an ill-advised bid by the possibility of a bargain. No clear shots = no bid !

The fabric lookes like flamed. That may be the reason for the brown stains. Further the way like the pockets are arranged lookes suspicious to me. I had an very similar tunic. The seller tell me a nice story but it was an ****ing fake. If the SS had so much members like tunics are surround in the world, the WWII would had come to an other end......(sorry for my terrible english)
