SS Brigadeführer tab, any good ?

I think it could be OK. The earlier pattern tabs were not quite as standardized as the final pattern...

I don't know, sure is a thick-azz stem and those are some 'funky' acorns. From what I can see I'd lean towards no way.

The earliest form, which was essentially the same as an SA tab but on velvet, was characterized by this thick stem and much larger acorns than we are used to seeing later. This pattern should not be confused with what is often called the "first style" tabs for this rank group, which didn't have overlapping oakleaves (you can see a space in between them), and did tend to have a thinner stem and smaller acorns. Both of these styles can be seen in photographs being worn concurrently, but I suspect the example here is of the earliest style. This pattern is really quite obscure, and I've yet to see a repro of it (although copies of the "first style" tabs are quite common). Just my 2 cents...
