    Ebay tunic

Is this an early Janke Army or a different repro?

YIKES!!! Look at those square button hole slits...aweful application of most likely fake insignia and a camp staff officer using an enlisted combat wool uniform??? an unlikely combination for a non combatant!!!
Added dubious owner tag to match the "documentation". Really sad or shall we call it plain fraud at its worst! Of course no reserve set for this POS!
Another "gem" this fellow is offering is an "Afrika" campaign cuff title in golden embroidery! Must have belonged to Rommel! He forgot to tag that piece with an owner name!
    Jeeze!

A fool and his money... 8 bidding fools at that... cannot wait to give their money away. Tis the crazy season!

So true. This is a real piece of trash as is the insignia. Greed is a powerfull driver. It's funny how people will walk away from a nice solid item because they can not buy at 30 cents on the dollar of it's market value and at the same time they will spend $800 on a faked repo tunic because they think they are getting a 6k value that no one else is reconizing.

I knew a guy about 15 years ago that had a room full (hundreds of items!) of this grade of fakesand he thought it all was period and that he had just gotten great deals for the 20 years or so that he collected it.

Yes Bob, but in this case only 1 fool will win his prize. 7 fools will be spared financial death now, only to meet it at a later date for sure. I've got a mint pack of still sealed RZM marked Waffen-SS CD-Rs and RZM tagged toilet paper for the other fools.

hey why didnt i think of that ...

do some research on a wartime character, make a tunic that looks like his, add a silly name tag, and sell it with the research !

But then again, I have some morale fibres left ...

Wow! Amazing this SS "Hocker" knew 60 + years ago what insignia ebay would allow & removed the "offensive" parts. Also see this guys return policy!!!!!!!! He sells you junk, you find out its junk, still no money back...you can get other junk instead! If thats not enough to scare one away, what is?

                            eBay...

and just as maddening as these scammers and the bidders who love them is eBay's twisted hands-off policy...they don't let anyone list real historical stuff, but if some shrewd scammer comes along they're happy to take the fees of these parasites and their hapless auction "winners"...

Oh course we must remember that many of the bidders may be shrills too, to add to the drama and help build up confidence in others to bid, and if by some chance the shrill wins, he adds positive feedback to the seller!
