LAH slip ons -- please review

I have been buying an old collection in batches over the past year, and I finally got these LAH slides out of the bunch! Please forgive my crappy scanner... it's OLD. I hope the detail is enough to authenticate these. The way they are stitched together is more complicated than it needs to be... typical German. The scanner didn't pick it up so I drew it in. There is an INSIDE seam that is machine sewn. The two end pieces look like wings. Please take a look and tell me what you think! - Mike

There is an SS machine gun sleeve diamond in there too I will post for review.

In the photos the thread looks silvery... it's a grey thread.

My initial reaction is NOT AUTHENTIC. Since I'm at work and don't have my reference materials to compare, I cannot give a definitive answer, but my gut tells me that these (if a pair) are not original.

          Bob -

I'll take a picture with my digital camera. The "warmth" is not there in the pics taken from my scanner. To me these feel 100% original so I hope it's just the pictures. The collection dates from the 1960's and before.

          All the best - Mike

This is going to be a tough one to know on from the looks of it!

Mike, I kind of like these. If you want to know for sure, I will be happy to show you several sets that I have that are 100% legit. We could compare them.

                            Tom -

I agree. These just FEEL 60 years old - I am convinced they are wartime.

I'd love to have you look at them and all the new medals I picked up from this collection. Plus I need to get that crusher from you! PM me and we'll get together.

Hi Mike, I would give it a chance, I like what I see in the first picture, how the monogram is embroidered and done, the thread used but an hand inspection is always needed.
