M40 TK Theodor Eicke tunic

This tunic was in my collection prior to the existence of this or any other forums. I used to take it to shows with me as an example of what I was looking for and did not wish to sell it until the curator/owner of a museum made me an offer I could not refuse.

What do you think of it.

I think it is a stripped Heer jacket with SS insignia applied (ex Russian capture markings)

I would have doubts on the eagle as well .
