I think this is a very interesting item so were are the opinions of the experts ????

Not being an expert - in fact farer away then from moon - I wouldn`t want it in my collection.

I have no idea about that miserable looking death-head and I think I will never a clue about these effects, but I don`t like the stuff the cap is made from and the wire the trapezoid is atached to the cap.

The insignia, which is not to my liking, is not properly attached. The rest of the cap doesn't strike me as being correct. I would pass too.

quite impossible to judge with this photos. BUT, imo quite sure about a fake m43.

Thats probably true Gary! However Im more sceptic to wool M43's with traps in general because too many fakes of this kind have flooded the market. Original trapezoids are plentiful. Original caps with originally applied traps are definetely quite rare.

I guess its a personal preference.
