Is this SS tunic for real?

Hello forum...

This tunic belongs to a friend of mine.

He swears it's real.

So... I brought my camera along... to post photos.

I am leary... Mostly due to the insignia being hand sewn.

I am sure there are other obvious faults... but.. I am not a uniform collector.

He claims it passes the black light test.... except for the part on the armband made of "Japanese silk?"
