Hello
,
I'd like to know if there would have been feldgendarmerie men attached to the Wiking division and in particular to the Germania regiment at the beginning of its formation. I know that in april 1944, when Wiking became a panzer division, there was a special feldgendarmerie company formed, but I take it there would also have been a need for feldgendarmerie before 1944? Or did they fell under supervision of the army feldgendarmerie? Any help will be much appreciated!
