I like the black and white twisted piping on he first one. Flemish SS diamond and SS Vlaanderen runic collar tabs I have, have similar piping.

Very nice picture Luc! In the back you can also see the SS-Ärmelband of SS-Obersturmführer Verbelen, is he wearing the same one?

no he is wearing a regular RZM officer CT. Pieter has the one of Robert Verbelen in his collection. It has an RZM tag! Only one of this type is known in collections.

                      Hello Pieter,

I want to collect everything that concerns 'Vlamingen in the waffen SS'.
But for now I'm only trying to gain info about this 'theme'

                      Greetz,

                          Question for the Flemish experts about Flemish NSKK volunteers;

Belgium and Dutch NSKK volunteers initially were issued black dyed Belgium Army uniforms but later switched to black dyed LW fliegerblusen and eventually were issued standard LW blue-gray unaltered fliegerblusen + NSKK insignia of course.

These black uniforms were issued along with black matching NSKK overseas caps to these volunteers while getting their training at the NSKK driving schools at Diest and Vilvoorde in Belgium.

B = black dyed Belgium Army uniform
LW = back dyed flieger blusen
                          Note LW helmets!

                          QUESTION:
What are the light colored collar tabs (kraagspiegels)? (yellow arrows)
They're not NSKK or LW tabs but worn on black dyed Belgium Army and LW Fl.Bluse uniforms...

Could these be DM/ZB Dietse Militie/Zwarte Brigade green tabs??

Good images! That is a great site!
I wonder if these are Belgian Army tunics with their Belgian collar tabs still on the uniform and ALL dyed black and the tabs showing a different shade because of the process?
BUT if that's the case, why do these tabs appear also on Fliegerblusen also dyed black? (image in post 1407)

I'm not an expert, but they look like Belgian, or maybe French army uniforms. I don't know about the colour of the collar tabs, but they have the form of the original tabs. And I don't think it are collar tabs of the DM/ZB because, If I'm not mistaken they didn't had rectangle collar tabs at the time.
