My latested find at the Max show

Textbook SS-Vlaanderen Tuchmütze with Flemish made skull and swastika (By the Indian company). As al textbook examples it never had an eagle.

From now on it will the centerpiece in my collection... I absolutly love it.

I saw this one 35 years ago....
and now it finally joined the other E.Reitz made items in my collection.

Interesting to see a helmet cover made by the REITZ company.
Never knew they made such an item.

Is it field gray HBT material? Also does it have a draw string to keep it tight.

I knew they made them, first time I actually have one myself.
The HBT cloth is a darker shade of white.
The draw string is in it as it should be, the cloth of the string is as it should be as is the colour. I'm not going to post pics, too many fakers have tried to imitate E.Reitz made items. I would like to keep them in the dark on this one.

The right tab ???? Not runes ?

IMO can´t be anything else than runes, as he is in the Westland regiment.
Perhaps the collar tab backing has been removed and the tab then become softer and more easily bent, which "demolates" the runes.
