From the obverse it looks like its uniform removed (I see no traces on the reverse?). If genuinely uniform removed, you got one hell of a nice tab!

does anybody know if this type is the common dachau type or a slightly older type that was obviously issued ,

the reason why i say this is because the stick grenade has a slight bend in it making it look banana shaped,the mint dachau types have a straight grenade ,the only other pic i could find of this type

yes the Porsh foto is made post war, but he existed really.
I dont want to know what he experienced, i think he saw enough combat, not sure how you survive the war in that outfit.
