Steve, what do you mean with a first pattern LANGEMARCK shield?
The only one that was made for the Langemarck in RZM style are the ones shown with the cufftitles I posted.

Hi Pieter,

The style I'd like to see is the one which comes down to more of a point at the bottom of the shield, like the one in 'Cloth Insignia of the SS' (2nd Ed.) P.373, worn by the guy with the Frw. Flandern title.

Hi Steve,
The type you are mentioning is not the one made for the LANGEMARCK Division, but for the Frw. LEGION FLANDERN.

I never saw this type of lion.. so I believe it isn't from the Langemarck.

Langemarck CT - Flemish made...

These are the flemish made CT from the Langemarck and Legion Flandern. The picture on the back is from a Flemish volunteer - Das Reich and he has the same Flemish made version of this type of cuff title. There exist also a Adolf Hitler CT in this version.. This versions of CT are very hard to find... and yes... there are not so nice as the German made CT... .. but they are orginal..
