I think that the goldish hue is just an artificial coating (very thin) of some type. The bad news is I believe 99.9% that the entire dagger is a post war creation. The grip including both emblems and the blade seem to certainly by fake. I can not see enough of any of the other parts....be careful. You my want to post this on the edged weapons forum.

Sorry Gepruft but is not an original dagger
Artificial signs, eagle, stamps... all is bad in this one.
