        I would want to know if it had the correct cardboard unterlagen before I made up my mind...

          Hi,

          I had this eagle in my hands yesterday and made some more pics of it. They were taken inside the house though. I did see the cardboard Unterlagen. The bullion was also a very tiny bit corroded here and there.

                Well, if the core of the thread does not glow, and it is all aluminum bullion and not mylar, then I see nothing wrong with it. It does look like some copies, but these ones are made without the unterlagen, and often have some synthetic elements. Many different hands embroidered these over mass-produced unterlagen, so there are bound to be variations in both style and quality...

                        Gerd compair with these,this may be an early fake of the Seider variety.Or it my be an actual wartime Seider.I just dont like the fact that none of these ever have the real corrosion.
