Interesting Langemarck cuff title in wear

Here are some rather intriguing images from a Waffen-SS history DVD that I have. It seems that the SS had it's own form of the "GI Bill" by send highly decorated combat veterans back to school.

In this sequence of images you see a young man wearing an NS Studentenbund armband with a Knights Cross, EKI, and interestingly a Langemarck type cuff title. There more script on the cuff title. Could that be Langemarck-SS?

It's kinda hard to see but in the first picture there are lots of these men wearing cuff titles.











Pretty cool I thought.

Does anyone know more about this cuff title. Would love to hear your input.

Langemarck Schools were like NAPOLAs but for the Germanic western European countries.

They trained the Nazi elite in Flanders, Holland etc.

The chap in the photo was probably taken back out of a foreign volunteer unit to be trained as a Nazi-sponsored political leader in one of these countries.

The full cuff title should read 'Langemarck-Schule'.

I'm recalling this from memory, but there's a section on these schools in David Littlejohn's book on the Hitler Youth.

Here you see a Flemish family and one son is in uniform of the Langemarck Studium.

I've had a chance to look at the books now and the Langemarck Studium was a NAPOLA-type scholarship.
