Cufftitle Wiking

Hello,
i ve a small chance to get a konvolut directly out of the family. The doughter is a friend of my wife, so i think everything should be original. At the moment i don t know what exactly is still there but most are the common awards like EK2, 4 year, 8 years etc. I just want to show a picture of the cufftitle because i am a bit scared that it could be from later period. Pls give me your opinions.

Looks promising but closer photos of the text Wiking and of the reverse is needed. It has 6 or 7 strands of silver thread at the borders?

i dont think this one have any silver thread ,for my its look like one rare Wiking
with "baumwolle" thread.I have one in my colection and this one looks like the second one that i have ever seen

Hard to see if it is oxidized silver or cotton. You might be corrrect Besslein.

Still we need to see larger images to be sure.

thx for the answers, unfortunately i only have this picture.
I try to get it in hand at least to make some better fotos. It looks more like cotton and not oxidized silver. What would be roughly the value, i need to have an idee what to offer.
