I have a temporary pass to a guy in a 2 Kompanie /1 SS Totenkopf Artillery Ers. Abt. but that is all.

Iam after documents for the presentation of theTK ring if such a doc existed. I have ra ninto one and would like to compare it to an original (if any)

Theres 2 types of the standard SS Totenkopf Honor ring doc. One with runes,the other with SS.

I had run into both types, I will look at them again but it seems like something that could be easily faked

Most originals had a watermark..........hold it up to the light.

Also...........the Himmler signatures were all hand-done by the man himself...............no printed signatures on originals.

munster, could you post a pic of it, they changed with the time period, ie, 1936 vs 1943. The caption in the upper right hand corner also helps, ie, printed Berlin vs typed in. As Robin said the watermark also helps on the early ones. Later ones, 1943, were on W F Mayr paper. If you can't post pic's e mail me it and maybe I could help as I own a couple. Sonny
