I got this item from a dealer some time ago. I have decided to put all my higher end items up to scrutiny. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance....

I don't think a bevo cuff title would match a 36 model tunic, but it looks great just the same. I would agree with Glenns comment, but I wouldn't mind having that one in my collection, nice.

As far as I know this cufftitle has never been seen in wear in any photographs and were supposedly discovered in bails at some point, after the end of the war, so I was told. Anybody know more? If its a genuine heer tunic issued to SS its a rare one to survive. Only 100% real M36 tunic that was for sure SS I saw at a members house was the only one I was ever comfortable with. It didnt have any insignia except eagle and the shading of the tabs and cufftitle and came from a good source, I still would have been happy owning it even in restored condition as it was a real SS 3 hole tunic. I remember there was a LAH tunic that came from a vet in england that looked like this one posted on here a long while back, m36, dark collar and 100% bonafide bringback from france in 1940. I think robin commented on it maybe you could compare.Last edited by pete; 09-09-2007, 03:31 PM.

But if the insignia good and the item truly a good Heer m36, then how can I tell if it was reconstructed after the war? Because there are no photos of DF cuff with quotes being worn? I was hoping to get just a little more input before I confront the dealer about this item. Any further opinions would be nice because this revolves around quite a bit of change. Thanks for your advice.Last edited by RolfvH; 09-10-2007, 02:05 AM.
